- Considering and amending the terms of the Compromis de Vente / Contrat de Réservation (Sale Contract), Bail Commercial (Commercial Lease for leaseback transactions) and Acte de Vente (Deed of Transfer)
- Raising enquiries and reporting to you (Mairie, DDE, etc)
- Advising on French inheritance laws
- Explaining the different ways in which property can be held under French law:
- – Indivision
- – Tontine
- – SCI
- – Matrimonial regime of “Communauté Universelle” and their respective implications in terms of succession
- Advising on French inheritance tax with a view to achieving the most tax efficient estate planning
In addition to the above, we also provide advise on the following:
- French Capital Gains Tax
- The notarisation and legalisation of French legal documents such as power of attorney.
